Tour Penn State Berks
Tours are winding down for the fall semester — schedule your visit while there's still time!
Campus tours will not be available the week of November 25 - 29 while the University is on fall break. The Admissions Office will be working remotely during this time and unavailable for in-person meetings. Please contact us at 610-396-6060 or [email protected] to schedule virtual meetings with one of our Admissions staff members.
Campus tours for the fall semester will conclude on Friday, December 13, 2024, as the University goes on winter break. Tours will resume on Thursday, January 23, 2025, when our Lion Ambassadors (student tour guides) are back on campus for the spring semester.
How to sign up for a campus tour
The best way to get to know us is to visit! Join us for a campus tour where you'll see our state-of-the-art science and engineering labs, incredible athletics facilities, vibrant campus life opportunities, and more. Our tours are led by Lion Ambassadors, who are current students able to answer your questions about what it's like to study at Penn State Berks. There are two ways to tour campus:
- On-campus tours: For those who want to experience our beautiful campus in person, schedule your in-person campus tour »
- Virtual tours: You can always take a virtual tour of campus on your own, either by watching our guided virtual tour, led by third-year business major Edgar Marquez, or by following our self-guided 360-degree video tour.

Penn State Berks: The Classroom Experience
Now that you’ve been accepted to Penn State Berks, you’re probably wondering what it might be like to sit in on a college class. You’re invited to join us at Penn State Berks to experiencea. mock classroom! Four of our faculty members have created mock classroom lectures for you to see what it's like to be a college student at Penn State Berks, and you’ll pick the class experience that most interests you. Family and supporters are invited to join you for this class. Once class is dismissed, you’ll have the opportunity to take a campus tour guided by our Lion Ambassador student tour guides. Class sizes are limited, so register for your classroom experience today!
Make Your Mark at Penn State Berks
“Make Your Mark” is our largest event for students who have been accepted to Penn State Berks, whether they have already accepted their offer of admission or are still deciding if they are going to become Penn Staters. If you’ve been offered admission to Penn State Berks but still have lingering questions, this exciting program will answer all your questions and prepare you for the next steps in your transition from high school to college. Presentations will explore topics including financial aid, the 2+2 degree program, housing and food services, and more! There will be student and family/supporter break-out panels and sessions, and you’ll have the opportunity to speak with our world-class faculty about your academic interests over lunch. Finally, you and your family are encouraged take a campus tour with our Lion Ambassador student tour guides. This program is offered on two different dates, but there is no need to attend this program more than once — choose the Saturday that best works for you. We are Penn State. And you are going to love it here!
Virtual Parent and Supporter Panel
CONGRATULATIONS — your student has been accepted to Penn State Berks for the fall 2025 semester! We know you have lots of questions about what their experience will be like at Berks: the education they'll receive; the social opportunities they will have; living on campus or commuting; research and internships; everything!
Join us for this special webinar where you will be able to ask all your questions as the family member/supporter of a future Penn Stater at Berks. The webinar is an open and honest discussion featuring panelists consisting of faculty and professional staff.
